Application Deadline: December 17, 2008
· Those eligible to apply include health educators, health care providers, cancer prevention advocates, and academic institutions.
· Projects must be aligned with the mission of the Prevent Cancer Foundation.
· The relevance to cancer prevention and early detection must be convincingly addressed.
· We are looking for programs or projects that extend Foundation activity across the United States, its territories and tribes.
· Funds will not be awarded to those who accept direct funding from the tobacco industry.
· A grant application must describe how the program or project contributes to helping people prevent cancer or find it earlier, and it should demonstrate the potential to make a positive impact in cancer prevention on the community level.
